Sendoso + Outreach: Sales Leader MCP Playbook

Enterprise deals stall. Champions go dark. A competitor earns the last meeting. With Outreach and Sendoso running in the same AI session, the AE pulls deal context and call history, finds a gift matched to the person, and executes the send without leaving their workflow. Smart delivery handles the address. The result is a physical-world presence in a deal where the competitor is running Zoom links.

Overview

Enterprise deals stall. Champions go dark after the demo. Procurement delays things by six weeks. A competitor earns the last meeting. AEs know what to do in these moments — get back in front of the right person with something that cuts through. The issue is figuring out what cuts through. A well-timed, relevant gift can re-engage a deal that another email won't touch, but doing it right means pulling call transcripts, cross-referencing CRM context, and building a send in a separate tool. The window closes before most reps act on it.

With Outreach and Sendoso running in the same AI session, that gap closes. Outreach holds the deal context: what stage an opportunity is in, who's on the buying committee, what the champion said on the last call. Sendoso uses that context to find a gift matched to the person, not the job title, and executes the send without the AE leaving their workflow. Smart delivery handles the address. The rep doesn't need to cold-message a ghosted contact just to ship something.

The result is a physical-world presence in a deal where the competitor is running Zoom links.

Why This Matters for Sales Leaders

  • Meeting prep + Kaia call recordings combine Outreach's pre-call account briefing with what the buyer said in prior conversations — so a pre-meeting gift lands on something they actually care about, not a guess based on job title
  • Stalled opportunity tracking surfaces every deal stuck in a specific stage and time window in seconds, turning a pipeline review into an actionable re-engagement list
  • Smart delivery ships a gift to a ghosted deal without requiring the rep to ask for an address — the send goes out without reopening a cold conversation
  • Calendar sync + scheduled sends time a gift to arrive the day before a key meeting without manual tracking — the rep confirms it once and moves on
  • Salesforce + Outreach contact mapping builds the full buying committee before a bake-off so every stakeholder gets a relevant touch, not just the champion

Scenario 1: Pre-Meeting Gift Timed to Arrive Before the Call

Setup: A strategic account meeting is scheduled in five days. The AE wants to send something that arrives the day before. This should be something tied to what the buyer actually cares about, not a generic branded item. Outreach has the meeting on the calendar and the context from past conversations. Sendoso has the marketplace and the logistics.

How the MCP helps: The AI confirms your upcoming meeting in Outreach and generates a pre-call briefing with context on the account, attendees and open opportunities. It searches Kaia transcripts for the contact to surface anything personal mentioned in prior conversations. It finds a matching gift in the Sendoso marketplace within your budget, checks the shipping timeline to confirm arrival before the meeting date, and drafts a short note tied to the conversation. You review the gift, note, scheduled send date, and estimated delivery window before confirming.

Example prompt:

I have a meeting with [CONTACT NAME] at [ACCOUNT NAME] on [MEETING DATE].Pull my Outreach calendar to confirm the date and attendees.Pull Outreach's AI-generated meeting brief for this account.Pull any prior Kaia call transcripts with [CONTACT EMAIL].Use anything personal from the calls to suggest a gift from the Sendoso marketplace under $[PRICE] that could arrive the day before the meeting.Draft a short note that ties to the conversation without being explicit about it.Show me the gift, note, scheduled send date, and estimated arrival window before doing anything. Wait for my approval before executing.

Expected output: Meeting confirmation, a summary of personal signals from Kaia transcripts, a matched gift recommendation, a draft note, a proposed send_at time, and a full send preview including estimated delivery. Nothing ships without AE approval.

Scenario 2: Ghosted Deal Re-Engagement

Setup: An opportunity has lost momentum and needs a path forward.. The champion stopped responding after the last call. Another follow-up email will get ignored. A physical gift tied to something real from the relationship won't. Smart delivery means the rep doesn't have to ask for an address — that cold ask would just confirm the contact has gone dark.

How the MCP helps: The AI queries your Outreach opportunities to identify deals that have stalled due to inactivity.. For each one, it pulls deal context, the recent Kaia transcripts, and Salesforce notes on the deal champion. It uses any personal detail from those sources to find a relevant gift within your budget and writes a re-engagement note specific to each person. Smart delivery resolves the mailing address in the background — you're not asking a ghosted contact to confirm their shipping details before the gift can go out. You review and confirm each send individually before anything ships.

Example prompt:

Show me all my open Outreach opportunities at [STAGE NAME] with no  activity in the last [N] days. For each one:- Pull deal context from Outreach- Pull recent Kaia call transcripts with the deal champion- Pull Salesforce notes on each championFor the top [NUMBER] accounts, find a relevant Sendoso gift under $[PRICE]based on personal signals from the call history.Draft a short re-engagement note for each — specific to the person, not the company.Show me the full list — deal, champion name, suggested gift, price, and draft note — before you send anything.I'll confirm each send individually. Use smart delivery for all of them.

Expected output: A ranked list of stalled deals with champion details, personal signals from call history, a matched gift per deal, and a draft note. Each send requires individual AE confirmation before execution. Smart delivery handles address resolution.

Scenario 3: Buying Committee Multi-Thread Before a Late-Stage Bake-Off

Setup: A deal is in the final evaluation stage and the buying committee has grown beyond the champion. The AE has a relationship with one person and limited context on the others. A physical touch to every stakeholder, differentiated by role and relevance, puts your company’s  name in the room before the final decision gets made.

How the MCP helps: The AI builds the full buying committee by pulling active contacts from Outreach and cross-referencing the Salesforce account record for anyone not yet in your sequences. It enriches each stakeholder, pulls any Kaia transcript history, and finds a gift matched to their role and any personal signals from prior calls. Gifts are priced at different tiers by seniority level. You get the complete stakeholder list — a separate gift and note for each person — and confirm every send individually before anything ships.

Example prompt:

I need to send a gift to the full buying committee at [ACCOUNT NAME] before [DATE].Pull all contacts at this account from Outreach and cross-reference with Salesforce to build the complete stakeholder list. For [CONTACT 1], [CONTACT 2], and [CONTACT 3]:- Pull any Kaia call transcripts- Find a relevant Sendoso gift at the right budget:  $[PRICE 1] for [SENIORITY LEVEL], $[PRICE 2] for [SENIORITY LEVEL]- Draft a short, personalized note for each — different note per personShow me the full stakeholder list, suggested gift, price, and note for each before sending anything. I'll confirm each send individually.

Expected output: A full stakeholder map with confirmed contact details, a gift recommendation and draft note for each stakeholder, a cost breakdown by seniority tier, and individual send previews. No send ships until the AE confirms each one separately.

Additional Outbound Sales Plays

Scenario 4: Touch 5 Physical Send

Setup: Prospects at touch 5 of a no-reply cadence are great candidates for a physical send. They were important enough to target. They haven't converted on digital. Finding every qualifying contact across a rep's sequences manually takes 30 minutes per rep and rarely happens.

How the MCP helps: The AI queries your Outreach sequences to find every prospect currently at touch 5 of [SEQUENCE NAME] who hasn't replied. For each qualifying contact, it enriches their profile to confirm seniority and industry, then searches the Sendoso marketplace for a [THEME] gift within your approved budget. It checks variants and shipping availability, then shows you the full list — name, title, suggested gift, and a draft note per person — before any send executes. Once you approve each contact individually, sends go out with address confirmation via email.

Example prompt:

Pull all prospects from [SEQUENCE NAME] who are at touch 5 and have not replied. For each one:- Enrich their profile via Sendoso- Search the Sendoso marketplace for a [THEME] gift under $[PRICE]- Draft a short note referencing their role at [COMPANY TYPE]Show me the full list — prospect name, title, suggested gift, draft note, and estimated price — before you do anything.Wait for my approval before executing any send.Once I confirm, send with address confirmation via email.

Expected output: A table of qualifying prospects with title, company, matched gift, estimated cost, and draft note. No send executes until the rep reviews and approves each contact individually.

Scenario 5: Post-Connect Call Gift

Setup: A rep had a connect call that went well. A well-timed, personalized gift sent within 24 hours of that call lands completely differently than a follow-up email. But "personalized" only works if the rep uses something from the actual conversation — not a generic branded item.

How the MCP helps: The AI pulls the most recent Kaia conversation from Outreach and surfaces personal details shared by the buyer, such as hobbies, sports, interests, family, or travel. It confirms the Salesforce record is current and no duplicate send is pending, then searches the Sendoso marketplace for a gift matched to what came up in the conversation. It drafts a short note that references the call without quoting it directly, then shows you the gift, price, and message for your approval before anything ships.

Example prompt:

Find the most recent Outreach Kaia call transcript with [PROSPECT EMAIL].Use anything personal they mentioned — hobbies, sports, interests, life context — to find a relevant gift from the Sendoso marketplace under $[PRICE].Draft a short note that references the call without quoting it directly.Show me the gift, estimated price, and note before sending anything.Wait for my approval, then send with smart delivery.

Expected output: A summary of personal signals pulled from the Kaia transcript, a matched gift with rationale, a draft note, and a full send preview. Nothing ships until confirmed.

Scenario 6: Cadence Send Performance Review

Setup: You want to know which sequences, when paired with a Sendoso physical touch, drove actual reply and engagement rates — so you can make the case for adding gifting to more cadences.

How the MCP helps: The AI pulls your active sequence list from Outreach, then runs two queries against the Sendoso analytics table — one for total send volume by campaign, one for engaged rate — filtered to sends where the origin was Outreach. It maps which sequence-gift pairings drove the highest engagement over your chosen date range and flags active sequences that have no gifting layer yet. The output is a prioritized list of sequences worth adding a physical touch to, ready to brief your team on.

Example prompt:

Using the Sendoso analytics table, pull all sends where send_origin = 'Outreach' between [START DATE] and [END DATE].Group by campaign_name. Show me total sends, engaged count, and engaged rate for each.Separately, pull my active Outreach sequences.I want to see which sequence-gift pairings had the highest engagement so I can add similar touches to cadences that aren't using them yet. This is a planning pull — do not execute any sends.

Expected output: A ranked table of Outreach-origin Sendoso sends by engaged rate, alongside the active sequence list from Outreach. No gifting action required — output is the briefing for your next team standup.

Getting Started

  1. Enable the Outreach MCP: Admin goes to Administration > Organization > Org Info > Gen AI > MCP Server. Every rep invoking tools needs an active Outreach license and the Amplify add-on. Connect at https://claude.ai/directory/connectors/outreach
  2. Connect Sendoso: Each rep signs into their Sendoso seat once via OAuth. Per-user auth scopes every send to that rep's approved budget and catalog — no shared credentials.
  3. Load the workflow guide at session start: Type "load the Sendoso workflow guide for sending" at the start of any send session to keep the two-step confirmation flow in context.
  4. Run Scenario 1 first: Start with the touch 5 pull on your highest-volume sequence. It's the fastest way to see the joint workflow in action and produces an immediately actionable send list.
